Wow! It's an official patch too. Now that's dedication. I can't wait to see what the release of the source code results in.

Was this released today? I just checked out Steam and their update history lists January 14th for this update. It could just be a bug on their system.

Just the same, this is a nice reminder that I still need to finish the damn game. Hope the save games can be transferred over, otherwise, oh well, catacombs shall have to be braved again.

Well all i wanted to do was tell the fine people on gog that there is a patch, and maybe have gog add the patch and source code in with Arx Fatlis goodies. And it's not like i was digging around old posts and found this, it was just released today on Moddb. Also...you can insult my mother, you can insult my crappy computer, BUT NEVER! NEVER INSULT MY POWER TO ACQUIRE NEWS SIR! /s

A patch from 7 months ago. Are you sure GOG doesn't already have it?

According to this thread (http://www.gog.com/en/forum/arx_fatalis/new_arx_fatalis_2_1_patch), GOG already has the patch.

Alright then! thank you for telling me this. Plus i would like if the source code was adding in with the goodies. Plus, why doesn't the game say it has windows 7 support, even though the patch added support for it? that was the main reason why i thought it was new.

I think the licensing on the source code prevents them from offering it here (it is only valid if downloaded from authorized sources). As for the Win 7 thing, the compatibility statements on the GOG pages are based on their testing only, so they likely just haven't tested it yet.
