grviper: Damn, why only Magic Time Bean manage to code XBLA games without sound incompatibilities?

SirPrimalform: His are also the only XBLA ports that seem to have a proper set of options like you'd expect on PC. No full screen in Platformance AFAIK which is ridiculous...
Yup, there isn't one. But that's not an issue for me. I play most DosBox games in window mostly because they look terribly bad in high resolutions.

Game window covers most of my 1440x900 screen, so I assume it works in 720p window.

morciu: Thank you so much, I got a new cheap gamepad and this s just what it needs.

summitus: Your welcome , but its jamyskis you should thank really lol :-)

Yeah, I'm fairly sure it's a 720p window which is too tall for my 1366x768 screen, but would obviously be fine in full screen. If your game is going to be as high a resolution as 720p, a working full screen mode is essential! Bah.
True, it should be implemented, not everybody's got HD screens. The game isn't netbook friendly, and to be honest, with that kind of graphics and gameplay, it should be.

I think, the game also fails to register my jump key sometimes.

This isn't even a netbook, it's a 15.6" laptop, it's just hard to get laptops with higher resolution screens at the moment for some reason. You have to go into the realm of the incredibly expensive before they even start increasing the screen resolution. Also my screen is +720p (so it is HD), it just doesn't have room for the game, window surround and task bar.

Are you opposed to Desura?

No, I just don't use it or have an account

The Indie Royale desura code is the same as the bundle's code, so giving the Desura code is the same as giving the bundle's URL. Be aware of that if you decide to give it away, it means you are giving the whole bundle away.

Ah, was unaware of that. Nevermind then.
So, in case anyone is still on the fence about it, I tried out SOL, which was a big deciding factor for me, and it felt meh. It was very arcade-like, forcing the user to hit a button to spin without changing heading, the voice acting wasn't that great, the story was a bit average, and even with settings all the way up and MSAA turned on, the graphics were sub-par and there were STILL jagged edges on everything.

On top of all of that, the control scheme just felt weird. Scrolling the mouse wheel adjusts speed. Okay, makes sense, it's like the throttle on a joystick. Clicking fires the "machine gun" type weapon. Makes sense. If you have a target, center click is to match their speed. Okay, makes sense since the mouse wheel controls speed. Right-click to spin without changing heading. Not the best place to bind that action. Then, Space is to select a target you're aiming towards (doesn't always work), 2 is to cycle through targets, and if you have a target, you hold W to set just how locked on your missiles are and then release to fire them.

It just didn't add up to an experience that was all that great.

Oh, but All Zombies Must Die is really fun. It's like Burn Zombies Burn, except it gives PC users the coveted co-op modes, and attempts to add more humor and structure to it.
If anyone has an extra copy of Sol: Exodus on steam they don't want. I'd love to play it!
