Though it is great that the manuals are included in PDF many of the PDF's are not booklet friendly for printing.

Please vote for this feature to make manuals standardized to make them printer/booklet friendly.
I won't be voting for that.
GOG is having a hard enough time putting out working games and a working website without them spending time on something like this.
I think this is something the customer should waste his/her time on if they want a hardcopy that much.
i think you should be able to create a booklet with just any pdf program you can edit with.
and perhaps even just select in the print options.

but why bother printing it out and waste so much paper on it.
One example would be Assassin's Creed, the way the PDF is laid out it makes booklet printing problematic.

Beyond Good and Evil has a great layout as I just printed it fine with booklet format easily... it was just missing a cover.
...or you can go to www.replacementdocs.com , and see if they have printable one ;)

I feel Smannesman could have been a little kinder to you, but sadly it seems he's right; GOG staff have enough to do as it is.

That hurts man, I was just concise.
I simply told the op why I wasn't going to vote for it.
I happen to be a very kind and gentle man, in touch with his inner feelings.

I'm sorry; it was keywords like "waste" and the bluntness of your first sentence that made me feel you could have been nicer to the OP. But that's just me; I may overanalyze meanings in texts sometimes.

No, I was being a bit harsh because I feel people these days are feeling too entitled and want other people and companies to do everything for them.
So you were completely correct about my post.
But you're not getting back your apology.

On the one hand, GOG is a company here to serve us, and we shouldn't let them slack. On the other hand, GOG is a small-ish company filled with imperfect people that only have so much time. So a balance must be struck, and obviously GOG can't please everyone, but
we should, you know, keep 'em on their toes and ask for that which we desire. ;-)

But compared to getting great games here (preferably old, on my part) and at least providing the goodies (including the manuals), making sure they're printer friendly just isn't that important. That's more of a community task.

Oh, and I'm someone who doesn't like to argue, and usually tries to "own" or "soften" his opinions. That's not for everyone - certainly some people should be hard critics, also to keep people on their toes. :)
