That picture actually brought to mind, one of my teeth in the back, on the lower right, is horizontal. Is that normal at all? I've never really gone to a dentist or a doctor before, so I honestly have no idea what kind of condition I'm in.

I just know I have a lot of pain, just about everywhere, and assume medical science doesn't have any answers for me, because any 'answers' they'd have, I know I could never afford! If I ever got injured, I'd either end up on the streets or dead. I'd probably prefer the latter. That's just the kind of world we live in, but a lot of people like to defend capitalism, so saying my piece would accomplish less than nothing.

Even if I had the money, I just don't trust the pharmaceutical industry. Haha. :P

For the same effect, drink several bottles of your soon-to-be-least-favorite alcohol. Do this until you lose count. Grab an empty bowl, put your head over it until it's full, and enjoy. All of the flavor and none of the price!

Its not uncommon but its sure as hell not normal. If its touching or close to touching the root of one of your other teeth, it'll probably end up compromising the base and detroying it, thats what happened to some of mine. You might be able to see in the xray that at least one tooth root is cut off before it makes a point, thats not a problem with the xray, thats destroyed tooth.

Don't you just love the compassionate american system? At least here you can get most anything done as a public patient (after an extremely long wait) and then spend the rest of your life paying it off.

But america is the land of opportunity, I'll bet you you do the former and then the latter!
Beer and red wine. If you choose some good, heavy stuff, those beverages can sustain you for weeks (I don't take any responsibility concerning your liver's state after that, though).

And concerning your teeth, have you tried fitting ingress's teeth yet ? My good friend Morte seems to like those quite much.

Wow. That sucks. Is there no way you could see a doctor without facing potential financial ruin? "A lot of pain, just about everywhere" is not normal. There are several chronic diseases I can think of that may be the root cause.

Didn't mean to scare you or none, but there are immunological and systemical diseases that lead to such things as "various" forms of pain at "various" times - never chronic pain, but "always present", hard to pin down, hard to connect to any commonly known disease - and over time, one adjusts and starts assuming it's just the norm. If you're also suffering from apathy / lethargy ("I don't want to go see a doctor, they'll just take your money and leave you with more questions than answers" is definitely apatethic), or have trouble sleeping, or can't keep your weight up / down, I'd definitely go see a doctor as soon as I could.

You don't have to be in bed with a raging fever, diarrhea, two or three forms of rare skin diseases and an infected ear to be considered sick. I'm sure that, "even in the US", you could land a diagnosis and some help for such conditions.

If I'm right. I know people that have had much the same symptons as you describe and been totally flabbergasted when they've finally went to see a doctor and ended up with an actual diagnosis for an actual disease, complete with a treatment program, when they thought they were just going to get sent to a couple specialists, then forgotten.

Lupus springs immediately to mind, thats regualry misdiagnosed (especially so for men since the disease is 10 times more common in women, much like cooties) and poorly treated.

Apathy or cynicism

Heh sounds familiar, a few years back I did a bit of research on depression when someone mentioned it, found out that the qualifying symptom was essentially a shitty mood and no motivation (without a notable catalyst) for 2 weeks and hereI was having it for more than 10 YEARS. I thought lying awake at 3am crying for no reason and alterantely wishing for death or genocide was just how I was.

But hey, lets focus on the positives, once my wounds have healed and the lingering gum infection clears up, my breath should no longer smell like rotting meat so I can safely talk to women without reminding them of that time they found a 5 day old dead cat in the middle of summer!
Is it just my impression, or you really had nine teeth on a few sides? O_o

its not your impression, it was on 3 out of 4 quadrants, the dentist said he'd never seen anything like it

just... wow
At least you can say that you are unique... :)
But really... Good luck with all that
Weird thing is that I am apparently having good luck. Its the morning after and my face is swollen but only hurts when I touch it, the day after my last op was the day I was in the most pain but now I'm basiclly fine. Weird but I'm not going to complain
