I recently moved into a small apartment so I wanted a nice pair of headphones for my TV so I wouldn't annoy neighbors. This sounded so simple. However things have gotten really annoying. My Samsung "smart" TV doesn't have bluetooth capabilities for headphones, only for mice & keyboards, so I can't use bluetooth headphones. Then there aren't typical red/white audio out ports, only a single headphone jack and a single digital out, both of which are fixed so I can't control volume for headphones, just the TV. There is no option for variable control in the TV menu either. I've been looking at RF wireless headphones, but I can't seem to find a pair that strikes me. The reviews on most of them are good, but not great. I've thought about buying an in-line amplifier for headphones, but I've heard mixed things about those as well. I don't really have a problem using wired headphones, I just use an extension cable. The problem is that I can't control the volume. I'm on a serious budget and can only spend about $100. I can't afford a receiver/external amplifier, or high end headphones. Does anyone have some advice or a miracle piece of equipment that can help me out?

I know this kind of random for a topic here, but I've seen all kinds of threads and generally people here are quite knowledgeable. Thanks in advance.

I was seriously considering the Grado recently. http://www.amazon.com/Grado-SR80i-Headphone-Discontinued-Manufacturer/dp/B0055P9K38

Thankfully I have no money, so that made the decision a bit simpler.
Oooh, I'm going to just discreetly bump this, as I'm also looking for a passable set of headphones for under 100 bucks.
