i know it was a sega saturn game, it was shown in kays catalogue (a uk catalogue) but wasn't yet out at the time, the catalogue in question was out after the ps1 was released so its a latter sega saturn game. it had bright kind of anime graphics, it may be dragonforce but is there any other game that it could be?

sorry for being so vague but that all i remember of it as i got rid of the sega saturn for a ps1 so never got the game.

also it was not Guardian Heroes as i owned that at the time

i'm not sure it is that, the only picture of the game i remember was a top down view of some soldiers, with the graphics similar to soldiers in suikoden

its like soldiers gathering on a green plain one was dressed in a dark metallic black armour, he was the boss or enemy

It could have been Shining Force 3. That came out right at the end of the Saturn's run.
yeah it could be that, it was definately an rpg and or a war sim game
