Hey, remember all those awesome old Wes Craven horror movies? Do you still want to appreciate his work? Don't ever see My Soul To Take. Every line these characters say is another opportunity for the movie to cram as much back story and twists into the movie as possible. Also, what is up with these one-liners? "I'm going to find your bitch"? The killer is some guy in a dreadlocked mask who cuts people up with a knife labeled Vengence. The movie never even bothers to explain that, which is surprising, given the volume of back story they just cram down your throat.
Wes Craven has now joined the ranks of horror directors that used to be the greatest but only produce crappy movie after crappy movie now.
