i have a problem with my SWAT 3 and Witcher EE , i cant uninstall them i run the uninstall program and nothing happens , and when i go to the task manager there is no uninstall program running ! .

Please help ?

Go into your control panel and into programs and features (Vista & Win7)

Find the games in the list, click on the one you want to uninstall so it is highlighted then click uninstall at the top of the screen and see if that works.

That doesn't work either , it's like i didn't click on it at all.

You could also try getting something like ccleaner (google that name for download)

Install it and it has an uninstaller for your programs, worth a try

Dont mess to much with ccleaner though as it can delete stuff you may not want it to, just concentrate on the program uninstaller.

What OS are you using?

Do you have admin rights? Is it your computer or at work/parents/spouse, etc.?

All my GOG games have "unins000.exe" on it. Don't yours have it too?(note: i don't have any of the games you talk about)

Not even ccleaner can uninstall them :(

Also you could try restarting your computer and then try running the uninstaller.

Check if the folders are not actually empty or missing something. Sometimes uninstallers leave folders behind with saves or other little files.

Or, alternatively there might be something missing in the files, thus some of the uninstallers get confused and do not uninstall - this has happened to me on several occasions.

I did everything : i restarted my PC , use ccleaner , use control panel and nothing works!
I can uninstall anything but i can't get GoG installer to work.
I have Win 7 and i have administrator's rights (it's my PC) , i clean it every week from viruses and other S**T but this just wont work....

This might sound stupid, but have you tried running the Installer again then Uninstall it afterwards? I've had to do that for a game or two in the past because of something I modified or deleted by accident.

Nope that's not working , i will just use my DEL key and be done with it.

Turn off your antivirus, the run the uninstall.

You could just manually delete the files. Find where the game is on your computer and put it in the old recycle bin. There may be a few files (probably in My Documents or something) you will miss this way, but, the vast majority of it will be gone..Now if you don't know where the files are, and if Win 7 is anything like XP (which I still use), just right click on the game shortcut and then go to properties and somewhere in there you will find where the files for the game are (probably at least). I've had to do this with some games, however, never with a GOG game that I can remember. Like that old saying goes: If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. ;) Good luck.
