I think it was created by the lead developer from WoW and the lead developer from Tribes, so maybe you are both right.

michaelleung: Is it? It looked liked a F2P online only shooter, you know, like those crappy Korean free online games.

I didn't talk to the Firefall guys too much but they said there is a bit of leveling involved, but not too much as they didn't want to confer a big enough of an advantage to deter newcomers. Whether this means MMO or persistent server world that they control but doesn't cost anything I do not know. He did confirm PC only for launch.

ovoon: Visually, TFU 2 looked nice in the environments. But the way the environments react, the horrendous explosions, and the poor animations for everything, made a comeback.

I'll be honest, I really liked The Force Unleashed, it was a great game to get drunk and play to unwind after work. There were issues on the hardest mode with bugs that could auto kill you in certain places, but beyond that it was enjoyable. I know it's an action RPG but I didn't think of it that way and the story was well enough written that I didn't feel ill at any point.
I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, I love the episodes from my childhood and will buy them on DVD when they become available (yeah, I won't buy that Han Shot Second crap). So I guess I have a bit of fanboy in me, but I've read a total of three Star Sars books in my life and own no Star Wars stuff, save a few action figures in a box from my childhood.
