Arteveld: still not complex, which annoys me, because i believe in a progressive nature of life, it's layered, and not flat.
This overall flatness, plus the genres bond of simplicity is what puts me off not only from modern rap, but most music i hear today.;)
I know, that's why i'm amazed that i like rap, because i'm a musician myself and often like to complicate things to a point that they become silly :p

I envy You, i'm a stubborn mule, that can't appreciate simple small things.:>
But i quickly learned that over-complication leads to disjointed stuff, or "too complex to make sense", i mean, for example, Death would have a pretty nice last album if it wasn't for the "let's put more breaks here, and touches there", and they ended up with a giant WTF, the KISS principle applies to music as well. I'm more drawn to thought out eclecticism nowdays, still waiting for an ultimate artist to grasp that idea and put it in life. ;)

"with friends surrounded, the nights of wonder" ;>

Great voice, effin' handsome [and no, i'm not gay], and a high hopes. Lucky bastard.. And then he recorded those solo albums...Well, at least Out Of The Blue was awesome, i love how that song explodes [no pun intended] half way through [NO PUN INTENDED, ok, maybe a bit].
