SCPM: Okay, so Thursday is August 30th, so this game will be Thursday's release, it seems.

GOG as well it would seem. Looks reasonably funky. If this one of the Thursday releases then I'll almost certainly pick it up.

Personally I'm not bothered about it not appearing on Steam. This is the nth thread about such and such a game being rejected by Steam, and it should be apparent by now that their selection processes are so inconsistent and bizarre that there's absolutely no point in trying to pick them apart.

Will Greenlight address this problem in any way? Who knows?

"Shame, would've been nice for others to get the chance to play it and I'dve thought it'd fit into the Steam library nicely."

Yeah, once it gets to GOG, say goodbye to worldwide availability.

This one made me laugh:

"A shame, cool games deserve to be played by cool people."

Yeah, because if you don't use Steam, you're not cool.

I'm beginning to wonder if part of the the ubiquity of Steam is to do with the fact that people don't know you can buy downloadable games elsewhere. That thread seriously gives me that impression.

It's a downloadable 3DS game, I doubt the Steam community are losing much sleep over this.
What I find a lot more interesting is that the game isn't even on the HiB.

Weird.
