KoolZoid: Well, so far it looks cool - holy crap, though, so many tutorial missions!!!

And if anyone knows a way to use the Vita to map the direction buttons to the right control stick, please let me know!:P
i do not know enough about the Vita... im pretty sure the newer psp game has been redone for PS3/Vita controls... but youd have to DL that from the japanese store and make a japanese PSN account and then play the game in japanese (i play on psp and am able to patch the game to english)

i thnk for MHunite, you are stuck with the controls (i say they are perfect, considereing a single analog, so i suggest you try to learn them as-is)

feel free to ask me any specific questions on anything. while i havent played that game in about 1.5 yrs, i do know it very well.

and let me introduce you to the best english MH site, Minegard:

Ubivis: The PSP is still alive? :)
If you are into emulation all NES, Super NES, Gameboy, Sega...

The list of games to play on that handheld system is endless.

I am currently enjoying the Japanese only release of the Wizardry 1-2-3 The Story of llylgamyn with an English Patch - Just would never would have been possible without my PSP.

Topic - I have it and enjoy it. Got it as part of a double pack with Both Monster Hunter Freedom 2 and Unite. These are not my favorite type of game as I am an avid RPG Gamer, so even playing and liking it is saying alot I think.
Eh, it's a lot easier to play for long periods of time on a handheld. You can get up and walk around the house, sit in a different chair, go get a snack or go to the bathroom etc.. a lot easier while playing. And if you absolutely have to put it down you can just flick a switch and put it in sleep mode and it holds your place.
Still playing around with it - seems a lot more involved than I thought it would be (damned BBQ song in my head!).

Thought I'd mention (for any other Vita users out there) - the way to access the PSP emulation 'special' features is to press and hold the touchscreen for a couple of seconds once your PSP game is running. You'll get a menu appear with the Bilinear Filtering, PSP-color correction and Right-analog function options.

Switching the right analog stick to emulate the d-pad makes the camera *SO MUCH* better!
