You've probably already beat the original One Unit Whole Blood and Blood 2: The Chosen (if not, what are you waiting for???), so here's a couple mods you might like trying.
One Unit Whole Blood and Blood 2: The Chosen, creations of Monolith Productions are two games that keep you in front of your computer for hours. We have some blood... I mean Blood enthusiasts here at GOG, so we asked one of them to prepare a present for all you Caleb fans. do you want to hear “I love the smell of napalm in the morning” or “I'm not dead...yet” again, as you kill numerous armies of zombies? Sure you do, that's why we found some cool Blood mods prepared by the awesome Blood community, played them and now it's time we share them with you.
Great! A thank you to GOG for giving Blood some of much deserved attention.
If you're looking for some great mods to play, I would suggest you to check out Bloodlines and Rage Against The Machine, which are both included in the launcher.
I like this, I really like this. Thank you for sharing this! I think this is a great idea for the future too, maybe once a week do a mod spotlight, or on schedule with new releases maybe do mod spotlights.
Once again, way to go GOG, I love this company.
Thanks guys! I'll give these a try some time.
Thanks GOG, you always seem to find new ways of impressing me and my friends. Awesome company.
cool. You know what you guys should do...do a weekend promo in combination with the mods. that would be awesome ;)
Excellent idea. I usually don't have time to review mods to any games other than my favorites.
The only additional thing you should do is put a link from the gamecard page for each of these games to this editorial. That way I could know about the mods when I am browsing the games.
This is an excellent idea, and the Blood series could use some more attention.
Bloody Pulp Fiction is definitely worthy of mention here, but that B2K mod was a joke in my opinion. It was only one tiny Blood 2 single player level, that also included another level from retail Psycho Circus, and another one that someone else made back in 1999! The only thing that even made this "mod" original or worth playing was the inclusion of early Blood 2: Resurrection resources.
There is a lot of excellent hard work being done in the Blood community that could be spotlighted here. Check out C2G, RATM, or B2R for projects that are actually worthy of being spotlighted.

Mods are cool and all, but where's Shadow Warrior? :(

Bwaahaahaa ... must admit I loved this series. I agree, Shadow Warrior was good also... not quite as macabre tho.
Blood series is in a league of it's own (back when, had to hide the game boxes and play when no one was home since it was so gross).
This is an awesome feature. Thanks!
Good news that the mod spotlight "is not dead...yet", heh? eh.
That Blood launcher is such a handy tool, that it could even be included with the GOG's version of the game. And if I'm not mistaken, the guy who developed it frequents the GOG's forum by the name of McTecman, so go give him the so deserved thanks!
I've compiled a little list of engine conversion/mods projects for Blood, but with a warning: I haven't tested all of them with the GOG's version of Blood. And please feel free to add more there. Here's the URL:

Thanks for this! I'm going to try it right now.
OMG...I thought I was the only person who loved this game, lol!
yesssssssssss... more bloodddddddddddd...
