Screw Torchlight! How the hell do you get through the 'collapsing roof' boss battle in Mission Impossible for the NES!?

The title got me excited about a discussion of the C64 Impossible Mission. Heck, I'll leave this here anyway:

EDIT: Impossible Mission, self-duh.

Slight correction: The name of that game is Impossible Mission, and has absolutely nothing to do with the Mission: Impossible franchise. Just saying ;-)

"First of all, be careful of your footing. If you stand too long in one spot,
you'll fall through the floor and die. The strategy that worked best for me was
to circle around with Grant, then gas him when he appears. This will stun him
long enough for you to punch him (or better yet, switch to Max or Nick and shoot
him). Be careful of him appearing in front of you. You can hit him once, but
then be sure to move, or you'll fall through the floor. After a little while of
this, you'll kill him or he'll fall through the floor. Again, be careful of
where you stand!! I think the easiest thing to do is to immediately go to the
outside ring of the floor. Keep making those big circles until that part of the
floor gets really worn down, then move to the next-furthest ring of squares.
Gradually work your way in, and by the time you've made it to the middle, you
should have killed the boss."

I found the exact same Walkthrough! I was trying to figure out where the collapsing roof was as I haven't played the game. ;)

If, by chance, not only one someone without Torchlight actually should surface, but even a second one, I can throw in another free copy of Torchlight. But I guess everyone on GoG already has it.

Sent a PM to them asking if they'd like a copy, if they don't have one already. Now to wait to hear back from him...
