Hawk52: I grew tired of Minecraft earlier this year. But I watched some of Yogcast's 1.8 videos and the adventure aspect did appeal to me.

I don't care at all about building houses or projects. But randomly spawning dungeons? That's cool.
I've never been a Minecraft "builder" either. I mean, I build some stuff... but the best part of the game for me has always been the dynamic happenings and the exploration. I just love the sort of quasi-setpiece situations you can get yourself in (like getting pinned down by a bunch of skeletons in a cave with only 1 torch, etc). And I love the endless world to explore (with one of the most magnificant terrain generation engines I've ever seen)

When I fell out of Minecraft is the exact moment the multiplayer games with my friends went from "Let's go investigate this cave we randomly found!" to "Let's build gigantic towers for no reason whatsoever!"

First option is fun. Second option was boring as all hell.

That's basically how I feel. I admire the builders and their more intense creations, but I'll always be an explorer at heart (heck... one of my favorite games of all time is Noctis IV :P)
