Yeah, but Microsoft is one of the largest and best able to afford expensive lawyers, so other companies might have to compete for the WETYMBNAMAM (We Enjoy Taking Your Money But Not As Much As Microsoft) instead.

Makes sense, considering how much bad rep the term "Metro" has received all this time people have been waiting for Win8. Better to change the tainted term just before the release. I think Valve may be able to give some hints (renaming of DRM to CEG).
