Narushima: No, I just want to know why you said that, at that specific time. As it anything to do with the idea of Gog selling indie games, or was it just that the thought of renaming the site was going through your mind at that exact moment ?

StingingVelvet: I see "good ol' games" as not really meaning old, but loyal, reliable. "Good ol' dog always gets my slippers" and all that. It does mean old of course, but in conversation it often comes across as just meaning reliable.

As for why I said it, who the hell knows. I say random shit.
OK, good.
Browsing this thread, there are quite a few reasons to include indie games on GOG (or, better yet, on a spin off like GIG). To sum up :

- price range
- indies are probably less reluctant than big publishers regarding DRM-less releases
- target communities largely overlap
- interesting for indie devs (no real alternative to Steam or home-made solutions, except maybe Desura if it takes momentum).

I say go for it if you can, GOG ! I'd certainly buy indie games here.
