Ok, there are still some GOG missing on GOG.com

One of my favorites is Thief: The Dark Project (in whichi, despite i SUCKED HARD AT IT, i loved it) and im quite surprise it isnt here!. There is any problems in getting the rights or what?

Also Looking Trough Glass made a lot of other awesome game (System shock I & II, Thief II, Ultima II). Will they also ever come here??

PD: just for the kicks, WTG went the wanted section of GOG.com, i cant find it anymore.

Search your wanted title on http://www.gog.com/en/wanted/ and hit vote button.

Thanks. justs added to favorites. still i want opinion or reasons why Thief or System shock arent yet on GOG.com
Please, use the wanted list.

The main problem in this case, I assume, is EA who seem rather reluctant to accept our money.

Edit: Meh. Ninja'd, and by an old ent no less.

Because GOG can't add any games without the publisher's consent. So either the game is on GOG's rather lengthy to do list or the publisher hasn't signed up yet. The latter being the case here.

Looking Glass is my personal favourite developer. I'm pretty sure that their games are one of GOG's top priorities, but the publishers (EA and Eidos) has yet to be persuaded to put their games on GOG. With luck we will see Looking Glass, Irrational and Ion Storm Austin games sometime in the near future, but don't hold your breath.

the publisher in question, here, doesnt exists anymore. Nor do i know which publisher/developer/particular has the rights for the games. System shock property is probably in hands of 2k, because of Bioshock spiritual successor. Thief rights are on eidos, which is property of square enix. Then thats the problem, because AFAIK, GOG doesnt have Tomb raider games either :S

System Shock was published by Origin, which is owned by Electronic Arts. That's why Bioshock is a "spiritual" rather than "actual" successor. You're spot-on w.r.t. Eidos. I hope that Squeenix can be lured to the gog side. They now control so many of the classics.
