I'm looking for some information on an old multiplayer service I used once.
It was akin to Battle.net, in the sense that it provided multiplayer options over the internet for a variety of games.
It was somehow tied to the French company Infogrames, and most of the games that were playable on it were indeed published by Infogrames (though not all of them).
The client itself was in English, but the community was full of French people.
Aside from providing multiplayer support for a number of retail games, it came with 5-6 free multiplayer-only games - some of which were pretty good.
The last time I used it was probably sometime in 99-01, possibly 02

Anyone have any idea what the name of the service was, when it died (I'm assuming it's dead) and possibly what the names of the included multiplayer-only titles were?

Nope, it was not MPlayer . I used that too at one point, but I remember all about it, so no need to look for information on that.
This the info your looking for?

Only thing I every used back in the day was The All-Seeing Eye. But that thing associated itself to what games you had on your system.
That is exactly it! Thanks!
While the name Engage doesn't really ring a bell, the names and descriptions of the games fit perfectly. And those were the real reason I wanted to know (and to satisfy my curiosity of course).
