Hey all, a friend of mine asked me if I could help her find an old game she used to play that she downloaded from the AOL Games days ages ago. She can't find it anywhere, and neither can I, as the title makes it incredibly difficult to do a google search on it. If any of you actually know a place to find it, I'd really appreciate it! :)

I hope you folks don't mind me making a thread for this, but I figured if anyone may know, it would be one of you all. Here is her description of the game, which she believes was caled "Haven."

" used to play a text based rpg game, you had to dl it from AOL and it was called Haven. You'd move directional-pad like around a grid, it'd say something like the scene was coming into focus every turn and then tell you about the monster or treasure you found, and it'd then scroll your moves. It also showed tiny pictures of the monster/treasure."
No idea, I did however stumble across a mud with the same name.

Thanks for the link! I forwarded the link along and am hoping it's the right game. I'll know once I hear back from my friend, but I have a good feeling that may be it! Thanks a ton. :)

That's the one! She's thrilled, as it was her favorite growing up, and now she can let her son play it. A big thanks and +1 for your help! Google was just not being my friend on this one. ;)
