I am on the lookout for a game I remember from many years ago.
Its called simply "Stars!"
I remember I loved the game, but have since lost it again.
Now however I would like to have it again

After searching on the net for the game, all I have found are reviews and shareware versions of the game.
Gamespot Review of Stars for PC.
I Thought that maybe the game was available as freeware/abandonware by now since it was apparently released in 1996/97, though I cannot be sure.
Does anyone know how/where I can get my hands on this game?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There's also a very old version downloadable (with the author's permission) from here: http://www.starsautohost.org/kn2050.htm

EDIT: You might also want to check this thread: http://starsautohost.org/sahforum/index.php?t=msg&th=1158&start=0&rid=78&S=1c6cad4a541f5b350ac270f0e94c7243

Apparently, the author of Stars! gave the site owner permission to distribute serial numbers in exchange for donating $2 - $6 via Paypal to his website.
