Hi, there is a game called legion. Alot of people do not like it because it is way too simple and you decide what the troops do before battle and cannot change it.

I am looking for games like this one. Not too complicated and just fun. But love the roman times or fantasy.

There's not many games that have that sort of battle. The only one I can think of is the Dominions series. It's a VERY complex fantasy strategy game series where you give orders to your troops how to behave in battle. When battle occurs you have no control and can only watch how it went. Just like in Legion.

Populous?

There are a couple of other Slitherine games (developers of Legion) which fit the bill. Not sure if you've played them, but try Chariots of War and Spartan.
