I joined GoG about a year ago when Planescape: Torment became available. I think not too long after that they ran a promotion on all the old Heroes of Might and Magic games, but I foolishly did not take advantage of it. Been playing Heroes VI a bit lately and it's made me nostalgiac for a romp through the earlier iterations of this series. I get emails periodically when they bundle certain games/studios together for a promotion, I was just wondering:

A. Is this schedule cyclical (meaning will they go back and "re-promote" games they've already done)?

B. Is there any way at all of knowing if/when a series or bundle of games might go on promotion again? I'd love to buy up the HOMM series again, but if I can get a bunch of them during a promotion, that would be ideal.

They do run specials on games that have been discounted before, so the possibility is always open, but as far as I know there's no way of predicting it. You can either be patient and keep an eye out or just buy them at full price. I myself tend to wait for promotions since I don't have much gaming time anyway, but I do feel obligated to point out that "full price" is not a heckuva lot here, especially for one or two games at a time.

They do go back and "re-promote" games from time to time. There is no evidence of this being scheduled in any way.

Look out for HOMM in the December sales (if they have one)
