hey all
Remember that game Little Computer People back in the day (never had it but a friend did - that an i drooled forever over wanting an Amiga....) -- is there anything remotely like it aside from the Sims series of games?
(and yes i know there is a wishlist entry already for it...for the amiga version but was wondering if there were similar modern games in the same vein).

Only Jamaicans are hewmons, mon!

Anyway, can't think of any games of this kind right now that aren't Sims or Creatures - unless you count Sims clones. There was The Partners which IIRC was a Sims clone limited to a workspace environment and there were the Singles games which were like Sims with less everything but more sex and uncensored genitalia. :P Played both of them (actually got both of them from the same gaming mag) and both were insanely disappointing.
Never heard of this game before, thanks for expanding my gaming knowledge. :)
Even though it's only one screen, this looks pretty amazing for something from 1985.
I've never heard of it before, but from the wiki entry it sounds a little like Nintendo's Tomadachi Life...

Not sure how similar they would actually be, but it was the first thing that came to mind.
As far as I know there is nothing really much like LCP today except the sims. The ones which are similar includes more some sort of gamification and inclusion of various goals and game play elements (unless you go down the virtual pet / tamagotchi route)

You can then look at things like Virtual Families 2, or Virtual Villagers, but it is not really quite the same.
