So last week I think gog.com had 783 video games listed and now today gog.com has 823 video games listed. Why?

What are the new video games that got added? 35 video games will be removed from gog.com's catalog. I'm so confused can a gog.com employee clarify?

Are they video games that will be added when GoG Galaxy releases and their names are hidden until then?
Movies?

triock: Movies?
The movies don't count for the video games section. The movies section lists 21 movies.

So no one has the answer why gog.com's number of video games shot up for the catalog?

The number is "correct".

Until recently, GOG more or less didn't count anything but regular games, i.e. not DLCs, not premium editions, not season passes, not upcoming games. About a week ago there was a jump of 21 (783 -> 804), when they started counting DLCs. Now there's another jump, as they count everything.

For example:
A month ago, Mark of the Ninja was one game (regular).
A week ago, Mark of the Ninja was two games (regular + DLC).
Now, Mark of the Ninja is three games (regular + DLC + premium).

After you remove DLC and duplicate games the total comes to 792. I guess they started counting DLC to artificially boost their game count. They count stuff like, for example, Mark of the Ninja, Mark of the Ninja Special Edition and Mark of the Ninja Special Edition Upgrade as 3 different games. Ya, I only count that as 1 game.

As far as I'm concerned there are 792 games currently. When you add the 23 games that were removed it is 815 which is why I use that number in my list of games. http://www.gog.com/forum/general/open_this_thread/page1
