Just to clear possible confusion: GOG does NOT port games, that is responsibility of original developers. HOWEVER if no port is available and dev does not plan to make one GOG may try to make game work using Dosbox/Scummvw/Wine or other such medhod.

As for Witcher, CD Project RED has hired company called Virtual Programming to make W1&2 work on linux however those aren't native ports either and "porting" is done using their own custom wrapper and if comments on steam are to be believed, performanse is abysmal. GOG is waitng them to fix the issues before offering Linux version of Witcher 2 here.

Not for me. I'm still onto Windows.
