*DISCLAIMER*
This question pertains to a popular(?) animated sitcom normally aired in the United States, the subject matter being a CIA operative and his family, and an E.T. living in his attic. Those of you from overseas on either side of the States may or may not be aware of the show, as it's not as popular as The Simpsons, or even Family Guy.
*END DISCLAIMER*

In the American Dad episode "With Friends Like Steve's", after it is revealed that Barry has "Barried" (ha!) Francine alive in an unknown location, the camera pans out to reveal an aerial shot of a part of what I assume is still Virginia. The roads and sidewalks are made to look like written sheet music.

For the life of me, I cannot find anyone or anywhere on the Internet that can tell me the melody "written" on this aerial shot of town. Would anyone who can read music and, more importantly, has a DVR tell me what the tune is, if anything?

predcon: Snip.
When we see Francine buried underground, the scene pulls back to reveal music notes across the landscape of Langley Falls.

These notes are the actual music playing during the scene.

I knew they were music notes, I said as much in my second paragraph. So, they're just the same notes as the stings playing at each "zoom-out"? That's almost disappointing, but at least my curiosity is sated.
Pretty sure it say thats what they are in the audio commentary on the DVD. I thought it was a pretty clever joke

And then your question was answered by a Brit and an Aussie :-D

I'll give 10:1 that the episodes they watched were ripped from a US broadcast. There's no way American Dad is popular enough for overseas syndication.

Well, BBC3 isn't it?

They also show Family Guy and E4 shows The Cleveland Show... we get quite a lot of US TV shows over here.

When did they move it?

Dunno, but the last time I watched Family Guy it was on BBC3. Probably many months back though.
