Dear Santa...

Another year has gone by here at GOG.com, and it's time for us to write another letter to you asking for a sleigh full of great gifts and toys for all the good boys and girls out there. We asked for a very specific list of things from you last year, and we got pretty much all of them: we had remarkable sales of The Witcher 2, proving that the GOG.com model can work for new games as well as old ones; we added EA to our list of new publishers (and brought back incredible classic games from many other game companies as well); we've even updated the GOG.com website with new features like private messaging and a wickedly-fast downloader client that many users seem to like a lot; finally, we have scored some incredible interviews & retrospectives this last year that brought some interesting comments from industry greats such as Sir Charles Cecil (Broken Sword series), Frederick Raynal (Alone In The Dark, Little Big Adventure), and [url=http://www.gog.com/en/news/your_questions_about_tex_murphy_answered_by_aaron_conners_pt_ii/2011/11]Connors (Tex Murphy series).

We even did a number of things that weren't on the wish list, like writing a comic book, introducing our twice a month "Gaming Gem", bringing an awesome Summer Staycation sale, lowered the prices on several games, grew our social media outlets ( and [url=http://www.facebook.com/gogcom]Facebook) to be almost double the size they were last year, affirmed our commitment to user privacy and data security, and attended a few expos ( and [url=http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150269050162657.326832.55892962656&type=1]GamesCom), launched a video trailer!

It's been an incredible year here at GOG.com - our best yet, you could certainly argue - and we owe it all to our incredible user base, the fans who spread the word about GOG.com's sales and releases on social media sites and gaming forums, and we especially want to thank them for making this last year another great one here. But we're not content to sit on our laurels. We want to make things even better in 2012.

Which brings us to our holiday wish list for 2012:

1. We still love classic games, Santa. We want to bring more of our top publishers to GOG.com, and we're happy to say that we've finally gotten all of the paperwork and preparation for our next big new publisher finished. We hope that our gaming fans will be as excited by the incredible classics that we'll be bringing to you guys soon, as we have been getting them ready to release.

2. We've already stated publicly that we want to bring newer games to GOG.com, but we want to do so in the GOG.com spirit: lots of goodies, DRM-free, and at a fair price everywhere in the world.

3. We also would love to bring more completely new day-one releases to GOG.com, also in the GOG.com spirit. We think that the GOG way of distributing games represents a great way for developers to respect their audience (the people who buy games), increase sales, and maybe even help change how the gaming industry as a whole treats gamers.

4. And finally, Santa, we always ask for more. More fans. More great conversations on the forums. More fun contests with fantastic entries from our users. More ways for our users to interact, and for us to reach out to them. More great games, and more great interviews with industry legends.

It's a lot to ask for, Santa, but we think we've been more nice than naughty this year - which is really all you can ask of anyone - and we hope you'll deliver again.

Happy holidays to all, and we hope all of your holiday wishes come true.

The GOG.com Team
merry christmas everybody!and we are going to have a new publisher?I hope it's Lucas Arts
Happy Holidays! Thanks for all GOG.com :D
IDEA: What if someday GOG got SS 1/2, and they sold so well that the rights holders got together and made an AWESOME(read awesome compared to the originals) sequel based on demand? I know wishful thinking, but it IS Christmas. :)
I might be a bit late to join, but I wish a very merry Christmas to every other GOG visitor out there!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays GOG.com Team and GOGers!

If I had to list the one main thing from my list of things I would like to see on GOG.com it would have to be all of the expansions for the EA titles you added this year. That would really be a huge HUGE gift to us all.

Hopefully it comes true eventually! Thanks for a great year and amazing Holiday sale.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and all, GoG .

My wish is for you guys to get a working NWN 2 in your lineup, which works with Win 7 64 bit . None of the recent reissues does that (not the Steam version, not the CD collection), and Atari seems to have abandoned support for it .
Bom Natal e um Excelente 2012!
Merry Christmas and happy new year!

P.S: Hope the next publisher is LucasArts. :)
Happy Holidays GOG.com Team!
Merry Christmas everyone! And a Happy 2012!

P.S.: I hope you bring us LucasArts classics this year, GOG team!! And also Ripper (FMV adventure by Take2 with Christopher Walken)!!

Dear Santa, please let it be LucasArts games, I'd really like to play Grim Fandango and this may be the only site that can make it happen. Also, if it's not LucarArts, let it be Eidos please, I'd really like to replay Soul Reaver with it's usual GOG treatment, along with the entire Legacy of Kain series.

Preferably both please.

With love, a mexican gamer buying every single illegal game he got through the years.
Marry Christmas :)
Have a Great New Year everybody ! Let the new one be so much better than old ! :D And GoG just keep giving us possibility to play great games ( and MOAR Witcher *coughYennefercough* :p) . You are just fantastic ! *if new publisher is going to be LucasArts I will officially faint and than probably starve myself as I wont have any money - all of them will be yours :D*
Make the games "Portable". Similar to software like they have on Portableapps.com for example.

As for games I would like to see on GOG:

-Thief 1
-Thief 2 / Thief 2 also had a fan made expansion that had a female character =D
-Soldiers of Anarchy
-Syndicate Wars
-Star Wars : Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2
-Vampire : Bloodlines
-Leisure Suit Larry 7
Just wanted to let you know I bought 6 games for my personal christmas gift. You guys rock!
