Let's Play has been mentioned a few times here lately. What is it? Yeah, I could alltheweb it but I'd rather get GOG responses.

That's an example of Let's Play Phantasmagoria 2 (5 hours)
So it's homemade MST3K for video games?
There are three categories of gameplay videos that have spread in the few years since the youtube revolution;

"Let's Play": A (often narrated) playthrough of a game, subject to the authors own rules and tempo. Basically a form of play-this-game-with-me. Many Let's Play videos have a humorous undertone, see the RPGCodex Let's Play's of "next-gen" RPGs.

"Longplay": Simply a playthrough of a game, often focusing on achieving as high a completion as possible, showing off all sides of the game, or playing in the best way / on the hardest difiiculty.

"Speedrun": Focusing on beating the game in the least time possible.
Here's a decent list of some :)

Also the Something Awful forums have a let's play section. I actually paid for a membership there so that I can keep viewing them. I like let's plays :)

Let's Play can also be written. See RPGcodex forum.

In the wargames / Grand strategy circles,"written" Let's Play are called After Action Report (AAR). It is so popular Paradox Interactive has a forum section for AAR for EACH game, and there are hundreds of AAR online.

Example of such a forum just for EU3 : http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?360-EU3-After-Action-Reports-%28AAR%29

The best LP is the one where you eventually make your own (crazy awesome) storyline.
