So, often my friends lists include a lot of people who don't play nearly as many games as I do. So I find these less useful. XBox Live achievements are a little more useful because then I can chat about specific portions of the game with them that they either have or have not finished.
But I guess my question is:
1) Do you have enough friends in your friends list that you compete on leaderboards ever?
2) Do you ever actually spend time on games trying to "knock it out of the park" score-wise?
I was just curious, on my quest to 5 skull War Mage difficulty in Orcs Must Die I was noticing I was hitting in the top couple of thousand for many of the levels, which either means, I just picked a lucky and effective strategy by accident or not many people even try (because it was seriously only my second or third play of several of these levels). I don't actually care for competing on leaderboards for most games, but there's a few I could see doing it for.
