wtf, does this mean that intel HD 3000 can play any game decently now? I guess my intel hd computer must be much worse than that. lol. my computer can play like Witcher one and NWN2 on medium/low settings. And neither of those games look as good as that technical wise at all. (Witcher one I think still looks better but that is because of aesthetics not polygon count and stuff like that. ..)

I think my laptop is only an I3 processor I think it slike 2.13 GHZ dual core and 4gb of ram. I just know it is intel hd I don't know whether if it is 3000.

my laptop probably would play more like this- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwrNP0CgPa8 which still isn't as terrible as I thought.

The mobile Core i3's have the (better) HD 3000. (Sandy Bridge mobiles called "Pentium" or "Celeron" have the HD 2000.) Desktop Core i3's, though, have the (lesser) HD 2000.

It's about the same scale and should be about the equal of an 80-shader AMD like the 5450 (desktop or mobile) or a 48-shader nVidia like the GT 410M. That's enough to make games less demanding than TW2 playable.

AMD's new integrated GPU is a far superior 400-shader unit, comparable to a discrete HD 5570. It should be able to play most everything but would still lag in TW2.

Sorry to bring up this older thread, but Intel did a great update of his HD graphics driver, especially regarding OpenGL and for ULV systems like my subnotebook. While Minecraft was a mess before the update it's now playable (of course with some settings turned off). I will maybe also try Amnesia the next days, which was runable after the last game update, but wasn't really playable (really bad performance).
