Oh no. It's all over the news since sunday. Kudos to the pilot, that was an amazing job but i'm starting to get sick from watching the same thing all over again. Media is running it 24/7.

Anyway, he will be getting a medal (president announced it)
Pilot's name is Wrona (Crow in english - nomen omen).
The media came up with one liner "fly like an eagle land like a crow"
Damn that was about as smooth as a landing without undercarriage could possibly be. Hell it was probably better than some landings WITH undercarriage

lukaszthegreat: Next time in Poland:
"Landing without a plane"
The plane just flies over the town & everyone gets tossed out the door in a wingsuit. Best part being everyone can go directly home if they can spot it from the air
Extremely impressive landing. My mouth was open in amazement. It looked like a better landing than most flights on which I've been a passenger.

It was probably extremely LOUD inside the plane, though.

Dan Air : Coming to a motorway near YOU!

>.<
Congratulations to the pilot. It had to be very hard job. I come too from Poland so I'm glad noone was seriously injured.
that is good news, but...

enough already. you can't read papers or watch the news on tv, because this is the only thing that's on right now and it's annoying. yes, this is great that they made it, but it's not necessary to pointlessly discuss this for days.

Yeah, that was really awesome, it was like the perfect landing, something which I can't pull off even in IL-2 at quarter speed. Nice.
A movie from inside:
