I feel conflicted for suggesting this but Dragon Age 2 is much shorter than Dragon Age: Origins and still fun its own way. I wouldn't go into it suspecting anything as good as Dragon Age 1 though so consider it a cautious recommendation.

Edit: Nevermind just saw you wanted 15 hours max. DA2 is more like 30. I'll suggest Dungeon Siege 3 instead.

Clearly, Charles Barkley Shut Up n' Jam Gaiden. It's a few hours, but it's incredibly silly and worth a playthrough.

Also, any of the Mario RPGs. Short, easy, and a blast to play.

The DS also has a bunch of short RPGs hanging around the 20-30 hour mark.
I don't think people get it, or maybe I don't, but as a married, working man I have limited gaming time. And it's not about being able to drop it easy and pick it up just as easy. I don't care how easy it is to drop if it takes me 2-3 months to finish it.

I was actually looking for such a list myself, decent RPG games with 15-20 hour length. And I mean actual length, not knowing the game and skipping the optional stuff.

I know, I know. I'm a bad gamer for wanting this cause it's just what's wrong with the industry, shorter games, less content, yeah, I know. But I like to finish my games and I just don't have the time I used to have, and I have more games on the backlog than ever.

But I've just started Morrowind so... yeah, I play something else at Christmas I guess :/

And my suggestion (from what I've read, haven't gotten it yet) would be Bastion. 8-10 hour length according to the FAQ.

Bastion is a damn good game but I'd hardly call that as an RPG. Yes, it's a kind of action rpg but very light on the rpg part (even more light than Diablo). Also the length of the game is more like 5-6 hours.

You can finish Morrowind in under 5 Minutes...

Now that's the way to reduce your backlog of games ;)

Fair enough. It's just marked as Action-RPG on most sites. I assume it's more action than rpg.

Haha, didn't know that one. But I suppose in my version the bug is fixed, not that I'd want to do a speed run anyway :)

Parvateshwar: If you're into D&D but, like you said, don't have time to spend +100 hours on BG2, then you could try Temple of Elemental Evil. It's short and if you're a veteran of NWN or BG then you will be able to pick up very quickly. Ice Wind Dale 1 + 2 are in that same vein, you can beat one of them in about 40 hours. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic doesn't take that long to beat, 20-30 hours depending on your playing style.
If you're into MMOs then I would suggest Guild Wars, the campaign is relatively short if you have friends to help you, but like all MMOs it's difficult to know when to stop so probably not for you.
You just read off all the RPGs I have. Hehe. Good taste!
I haven't finished IWD1 or 2, BG2 or KotoR or ToEE. I've played the dickens out of them, but still haven't beaten them. They're nice to come back to again and again.

I'm actually playing through GW with my brother from time to time.

Those are all my favorite long RPGs to come back to again and again. I'll eventually beat one of them. :D I beat BG1 a year or two ago finally!
This website is awesome. I never knew of it. I'll have to take a look at some more.

You're dead on. I tried Bastion and it was okay. Does it get better than what the demo had to offer?
