They're both excellent games, and I recommend them strongly.

That said, the first game feels kinda dragged out near the end (I stopped my second playthrough when I got to the last planet because I remembered how utterly boring that part was and never got around to rounding it up - three years or so ago), and I was personally not really wowed by the story.

The second game has a much more compelling story - Kreia is one of the best characters ever created, no hyperbole. Unfortunately, it's a buggy, (relatively) short and unfinished mess with lots of presentation problems, and in the end feels more like a beta of a fan-made mod - the kind that never gets finished - than a real game. Despite this, I definitely recommend it, despite how frustrating a game it can be at times.

Snickersnack: My last computer (A64x2 Nvidia 7600gs Linux+Wine & WinXP) didn't like disc1 of the CD release. I got a cracked copy of disc1 and I was able to run it. I think I may have had to set affinity to 1 core.

What problems are you having and what kind of system do you have?
I have solved it thanks for the quick reaction i had put on v sync in config and it is working now
