Best Quests sets get their price compressed to $4.99.

This week, we’ve got 20 quests from Activision for you. They are tidily packed in sets of two, three or four and for even more convenience, their price is set to $4.99 each.

King’s Quest is a classic series created by Roberta Williams of Sierra Entertainment in the so-called “golden days” of adventure games. They chronicle the history of the Royal House of Daventry in a world inspired by fairy tales and mythology. You can get King’s Quest 1+2+3, King's Quest 4+5+6, and King's Quest 7+8 for only $4.99 each.

Police Quest 1+2+3+4, all four designed by former policemen, are adventure games that put you in the shoes of California homicide detective. Police Quest: SWAT 1+2 is a non-typical compilation, because SWAT 1 is an FMV tactical SWAT-assault simulation and SWAT 2 is a real-time strategy. However, all Police Quest games are a must-buy for all those interested inthe nitty-gritty of actual police work. Both Police Quest compilations are $4.99 each this weekend only.

Space Quest - Venture through the Galaxy and fight for truth, justice, and really clean floors. A silly sense of humor, wacky storyline, Star Wars and Star Trek parodies, and janitor (!) Roger Wilco as the main character who repeatedly saves the universe by accident -- you can find all of this and even more in Space Quest 1+2+3 or Space Quest 4+5+6 for only $4.99 each.

More than twenty years ago, three epic adventure sagas began. Whether you like quirky sci-fi humor, enjoy an epic fantasy setting or prefer more down-to-earth police work, we’ve got the perfect quest for you.Get your favorite Quests set for $4.99 each today.

gm192206: So if I like adventure games, but have only played early LucasArts and later games like Broken Sword, is there anything here for me? Every time In hear about these games, it's people complaining about impossible to figure out puzzles, pixel-hunts, and the games becoming impossible if you make certain decisions. Does anyone have anything nice to say? Are the later ones (e.g. King's Quest 7 & 8) more accessible?
You should try the Kyrandia series, which unfortunately isn't available here, or you should try Gabriel Knight series which doesn't have pixelhunting or bizare puzzles, but on the other hand it's quite tough and it requires thinking like a real detective :)
and The Longest Journey ofcourse

timppu: So what's the problem? If you prefer the Steam version and think they have a better deal, get it from Steam then. I get games from e.g. DotEmu when I think they have a better deal than GOG, I don't cry here "Boohoo, DotEmu has a better deal! GOG sucks!".

I never understand these cries "Boohoo, Steam offer is better...", unless you are banned from buying anything from Steam, of course. Yes, I think GOG is aware of their competitors' pricing, goes with the territory.

Pheace: I have no idea what you're going on about with this rant. All i did was respond to someone who said that the price was cheaper on Gog, and I mentioned that it was because it was on promo now. Read the thread properly next time before overreacting to a post.
Since you seem to forget so easily what you have written yourself, I highlight the important part in your message:
And DRM free to me = Less convenience. Because if I want to install it I have to download it from gog, go to the downloader, install it manually, link the game to my steam library. And then for uninstall, remove the link, then remove it manually else it'll still be there.
So again, what are you crying about? If I were like you (and certain others), I guess I should go to Steam forums complaining: "This is stupid! You can get this and this game in GOG, and it is DRM-free there too! And it includes specials, and they guarantee support for modern systems!". I don't see the point in doing so, though.

What I don't like about all digital download companies so far is that they have to package DosBoxed games into installers.
I have a massive game collection here at GoG, yet I don't run Windows. It's a hassle to fire up Wine just for the installer everytime when I want to play yet another childhood DOS memory.
It's pointless really. Just give the zip with the Dosbox settings and the images. I will decide what OS hosts DOSBox, thank you. Besides, how long will Windows survive? Will those installers still run on my spanking new chip with 1Mbit bandwidth, instead of the measly 64 bit's of the late 2000's and 2010's? That is the whole idea of being DRM-free, no unneccesary ties to any system not needed for running the game itself.
Ah, the EULA? Well, just include it or give me the opportunity to read it and accept before I enter my payment info.

Feel free to continue on your clueless charade. You're handpicking what I said there. It was a response to someone else, and relevant to the argument at the time. If you choose to ignore the argument, then I'm not surprised you see 'crying/whining' everywhere. I'd look up a mirror though, it's a lot easier.

All my comment did was highlight that what some consider benefits, others don't. Nowhere did I state one was better than the other. In fact, I made it perfectly clear several times in that post that it was 'Subjective'. If that word is lost on you, feel free to look it up in a dictionary.
