Kaiju Combat is the potential new giant monster fighting game Kickstarter project, by the team who brought us Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee (GCN, Xbox), Godzilla: Save the Earth (PS2, Xbox), and Godzilla: Unleashed (Wii, PS2)!

The previous titles were rather well-balanced asymmetrical fully 3D fighting games. Godzilla: Save the Earth was tournament-worthy and I played it competitively online for years. Definitely worth looking into.
Heh, kicked a cocky relative's arse in DAM more than once.. Glorious news!

This could be really great. Be a good chance for forgotten monsters to get seen again!

I hope they get funded, but I have a feeling it might be a bit of an uphill battle. There's nothing to show of the actual game, and $350 thousand is a lot..

It is a long-shot, but crazier things have happened on Kickstarter:

So spread the word and donate $1... or why not $5,000!
That can happen, it's not quite the same for this though.

A lot more people want a double-fine adventure game, compared to.. a (kinda) sequel to a series that was barely on the same console twice, and may or may not get a godzilla DLC.. It's a bigger ask.

Now, if it gets picked up by the right sites and hits the goal overnight via the G-fans.. that's when you get exited!
