As much as I love GOG there are games which are really, really hard to find. During my never-ending quest I ran across this site:

old-games.com

Apparently, no one knows of it. They have tons of extremely rare games, but they also seems very suspicious.
Does anyone know if the site is trustworthy?
Thanks in advance for your help.

EDIT: can't post the link, but just google it.

They aren't legal, that much is sure. They are hosting games like Doom, which are currently sold on other stores.

Yeah I've been there. Very nasty.

And can we please uprate the OP so he can post links. Besides, I'm pretty sure his login is a reference to DIO which makes him welcome and loved here.

http://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/old-games.com

http://www.scamvoid.com/check/old-games.com

I found these results.. it seems legitimate but I wouldn't risk it.. Better buy from here or somewhere else instead.

Edit: there is something I don't quite like in the first link I posted.. hmmm it seems that this scamadvisor site isn't to be trusted either.. searching it now.

edit: Yep, scamadviser.com is not to be trusted... don't know for scamvoid.com - - Just found this https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/old-games.com , scroll down to the comments and you'll see many of them talk about viruses etc. Please beware! Cheers

I don't think they have the rights to any of the games. They are just taking advantage of the fact that many old games are near impossible to find and the rightsholders either don't care or don't exist anymore.

Btw I did download a couple of years ago Pax Imperia 2 from there and it looked like a cracked version and it wasn't even with the latest patch...

Thing is that they are also carrying games like Blood, which is still sold here and on Steam and you can download said games without paying.
Think I downloaded a game form them once. It downloaded at like 2kbps.
Looking back at them, they probably weren't trustworthy.
Probably just another abandonware site... I use those for games that aren't on GOG, but not that one. Abandonia and myabandonware are your best options .
Yup, reference to RJD.

Thanks for all the answers guys, I'll try finding the games elsewhere.
