I'm almost done with Fahrenheit, and to my surprise I had a blast so far. I approached it with very little expectations due to its reputation, but it turned out to be very impressive. Very few games left me thinking "I want more stuff like this". Yeah, I know, everyone and their grandmother hated the quicktime events, but I didn't mind them too much.

Now, as far as I know Quantic Dream moved to the greener pasture that is the console market, and is pretty happy to stay there. The PC port of Heavy Rain (wich seems to be exactly what I'm looking for) seems to be lost in a limbo as well, and that's unfortunate, because I cannot afford console gaming.

Maybe someone can point me to similar titles though? If so I'd be really grateful.

Jurassic Park (a lot of people hated it though).
Yeah, Jurassic Park. Also The Walking Dead, to a slightly lesser extent. That's pretty much it as far as I know.

Honestly most people hate that "gameplay" style, so most developers are not emulating it.
Yeah I recommend The Walking Dead too.

...Suddenly, getting a PS3 doesn't seem that much of a bad idea anymore. :P

But beggars can't be choosers, I suppose. Thanks.

Can't say I'm a fan of Simon Says either, but the rest of the game and in particular the cinematic experience was well worth it.
