So,I played a lot of Kojima games,and...sometimes I find them disturbing.
Let's take Policenauts,for exemple.
The main character can touch boobs and similar but,when you reach the home of your buddy,you can "appreciate" her daughter,that is only a teenager,by the way!

Now I'm replaying Metal Gear Solid 4 and during the B&B fights the camera spot on some "places" of the beauty,but...these are supposed to be dramatic scene!Why the camera show their ass or boobs?It's kinda weird.

In MGS1 too you can see Meryl without her pants during the crawl scene searching for Darpa chief.

In MGS 2 I can't remember nothing (only a naked Raiden).

In Peace Walker if you reach rank S in a mission you can hide yourself into the lovebox...with a teenager girl that is supposed not to be 18 years old :\
And when you hide with her,the box starts to move and strange rumors exit from it.

Is Kojima a parvert or something similar???

I've played some Japanese games here ant there, and they are full of fanservice.

You play them more, you read some manga, and you'll get it's quite common.

I don't read manga,so I don't kwno it.But...why these things are there?What's the purpose?

Sex sells, and Japanese folks like to joke about sex a lot. I think they are more liberal in this.

Sex isn't supposed to be a grave serious thing. Fanservice can be pretty annoying, when it's the only "value" of the product, like in many anime series, but in MGS game I find it funny.

Btw. it's just a video game. For me, it doesn't matter how many years old is a character that is all 01010101s.

In MGS4 you have some special minigame with beauties, when you take their pictures. Yes, you get extra points for photographing their boobs and asses :P

You should take notice that in many countries "legal age" for sex is different. Also, you do forget, that people in video games don't exist :P

It's something specific for Japan. You know, up until a few years ago, owning child pornography was legal there. Making it wasn't ,neither was selling it, but owning videos of it was.

I saw an interview with him a while back from Gamecenter CX and he was talking about how a lot of the stuff he'd like to add to games gets rejected because of the immature/grotesque/random nature of it. I know he's mentioned that he gets a lot of inspiration from manga/anime, as well as 80s movies. I think it's this combination which causes a lot of the things you mention, taking things from as mentioned fanservice + trying to push things a bit and make the games feel more like a movie. An 80s movie. Which is awesome.

I think if he had free reign though MGS would be like Benny Hill.

He's on there twice and both times he did not leave a positive impression on me.
The Castlevania SOTN guy on the other hand seemed like a decent guy.. although his input seemed to be mostly cosmetic.
