A while back I remember playing an alpha version of a browser-based game that looked like paper drawings of RPG dungeons. It was pretty basic, but you would move your character around the map one square at a time, then plunk down cards to build out the map and place monsters and treasures. Can anyone here remind of what it was?? I would really appreciate it!
Crayon Chronicles?
Paper Sorcerer ?

Card Hunter? Though that was party based and you didn't put down cards to build dungeons, you played cards to use your characters powers / equipment.
Hmm... all of the suggested games seem but are not it. It looked similar to Paper Dungeons but with a black and white, hand-drawn style. I remember seeing it mentioned on Rock Paper Shotgun.
Doesn't Paper Dungeon have a monochrome map?
I highly doubt its this one - but lets throw it out here in case
