A link to the subconsciousness.

Anodyne, a retrotastic adventure game with nostalgic action-RPG feel and deep story, bundled with MP3 soundtrack, is available 60% off today on GOG.com. That's only $3.99 for the next 24 hours!

Ah, welcome! I'm here to help you help yourself. Yes, I'll guess you could call me "doctor". Before we start, let's talk about the nature of what you'll be doing. What most therapists never tell their patients, their role in the process of overcoming your problems is very often negligibly small. Therapy is actually about the patient doing all the work with the counselor serving only as a guide. All of the hard labor happens so deep in the patients mind, that there is no way anyone else could go there. You always go there alone. And yes, it's dangerous to go alone. Take this pill. What is? Oh, it's the weapons you'll use to fight your problems. I'll help you to get to them and start your quest. Lay down, relax, and listen as I begin to countdown from ten. Ten. Nine. Your eyelids are heavy. Eight...

Anodyne combines charming pixel-art visuals and time-proven gameplay mechanics taken straight from the classic console action-RPGs with a deep and thought provoking story that touches the very human psyche. The world you'll explore is the hero's inner-self and the foes you'll be fighting are his unrealised fears, traumas, and anxieties. With stylish graphics, imaginative gameworld design, mesmerising music, and an original story, this dreamy retro-themed adventure makes a lasting impression.

Fans of console-style action-RPGs and intriguing, original stories get the chance to experience something unexpectedly moving today with Anodyne, for only $3.99 on GOG.com. The offer lasts until Thursday, July 11, at 9:59AM GMT.

Barefoot_Monkey: GOG loves your wallet. It can't get enough of it. ;-)
:) You're right. But neither can I.
And then we get these promos in which I have to choose the one I can live without, and the wallet loses every time.

This game was just on sale for $4.99 during the summer sale. I didn't buy it then, and I had not-buyer's remorse when the sale ended. I'm glad it went on sale again because I wasted no time picking it up. Now I just have to wait for Evoland to go on sale next.......

Heck I bought in in the summer sale not realizing I had already bought the game from the devs before.

SpiderFromMars: Hmmm... Anodyne was on sale at launch as PWYW, with steam key and GOG key (if you asked for it). Nice promo, but many people have it for much less than that...

SirPrimalform: Woah, the dev has GOG keys? I assumed they didn't since they put all the other keys on the Humble Store page.
Yep, talk to the great seagaia, nice guy, nice game...
He has a devlog about his new game on TIGsource, really interesting... ^_^

seagaia: Exactly - and those people total to maybe 6k which is not a lot in the grand scheme of things.
What's the current high score? It's kind of difficult to be teh bestest (and piss off Roman5) when there are no leaderboards.
