Of course, but GOG should ask devs to get them incremental patches always - I mean, incremental patches are a standard, not the other way around.

Yeah, but because of platforms like Steam a lot of developers now just produce a new build. You ask the devs why they're not producing patches.

I really hate the mindset of current retailers to weasel themselves out of their warranty obligations by pointing towards the manufacturer. Always go to the guy you have a contract with.

Not every game is going to have 173MB. I can"t believe I have to spell it out like this.
I'm getting tired of how you always explain everything from a legal standpoint which has often little in common with reality. And so what? GOG should only accept games if the dev can guarantee that he's gonna be able to provide separate patches? Cool, where's the problem except for the smaller amount of releases... so yeah, let's blame the devs because if they learn how pissed some people are they might actually create the stuff people are asking for.

Yet again a user is not happy with how GOG handles things.
And who is to blame? The user of course!

It would be nice to see patches for newer games still getting them. I always hated the way Steam does it partially because the latest patch isn't always the best one or the one you want to use.
