I don't know if there'll be someone here who can answer this, but here goes nothing...

A few years back (probably between three and five) I was playing an online game that I can't remember the name of. It was a single-player game with enclosed maps that you could roam freely in. It was an extra-terrestrial game (took place in space/ on other worlds) and you had a small ship that you could upgrade. In order to upgrade your ship you had to find part blueprints and kill enemies/ mine for resources to complete the upgrade. At the beginning of each map was a small green pad that you could stop on to get repairs and upgrade the ship. It was made by wild tangent, but I can't find it in their 'library' so I don't know if it's owned by somebody else now or if it just doesn't exist anymore. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, I would appreciate a hand in finding it, because I've searched about a month now to no avail.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I think Space Strike would fit ? :)

So far that sounds a bit like SPAZ. But I don't think that had any connection to Wild Tangent.

What did the game look like? Did it look 3D or 2D, could you travel in any direction or were you restricted to moving on a plane?

Maybe he doesn't remember right:P I mean, he did say he can't find it in their library.
Maybe it's Pirate Galaxy.
