wodmarach: OCUK have shocked me today, I get a call apologising for not sending me out my card due to lack of stock and offering to upgrade me to a 6950 2GB for a tenner... which I of course accepted.. Should arrive tomorrow \o/
Bloody hell. I've recieved some good customer service from some of these online hardware retailers (oyyy and kikatek spring to mind), but that takes the cake!

I installed it at 1pm and went out and got a new power supply at 1.30... factory overclocked to 880 and all the shaders turned on o.O blew out my 500W PSU when I loaded DX:HR

Oh bugger! D: I'm kind of pushing the upper limit of what my PSU can handle too. It certainly didn't like the extra optical drive I had in there when I was testing to see if any of them still work properly (they don't, but are inexpensive and inconsequential compared to a PSU).
Well, thanks saramakos, i'll may buy that Graphic Card.

wasn't that bad Maplins had an XFX 700W supply for 30... and after wiping windows and installing Batman:AA I'm getting triple my old framerate... at a much higher graphics level.. cant wait for BF3 and DX:HR to finish installing...
