GOG used to have new games on Tuesday and Thursday, with a Hidden Gem of the Week promo on Wednesday in addition to the weekend promo. The hidden gem would be some pretty decent game that you might have missed and they'd drop the price by a buck or two for Wednesday. I liked that promo. It got me trying some games I might not have picked up otherwise.
Anyone know why it went away or if it might return?

don't know why they are gone, don't know where they went, but I also want them back.

The articles that came with the hidden gem talking about the game were great. Even without the sale I'd kinda like those to come back at least.

Realistically there are only so many games they can call hidden gems before it gets a bit silly. But they could always have renamed it.

Yeah, if they called them hidden gems or spotlight games then any game could be in the spotlight or a hidden gem, depending on if it is just being showed off, or if they are trying to inform people about obscure, yet good games they might have missed.
I also liked the articles as well. I wouldn't mind seeing them come back by themselves either, but they were even sweeter with the sale price. :)

IIRC, hidden gems were added every Monday.
But anyway, indeed, they were very nice, and I myself was wondering why they got discontinued.
