Look! Just look! I'm genuinely happy now! It's still not as good as bringing back stats, but I suppose it's as close as we're gonna get. No longer is my warrior going to get a levelup because he red a book on lockpicking, no siree. Now I just need to combine it with frostbite, needs mod, and anti-GPS mod and I might just become a happy person (... and enter editor and remove all quest-starting scripts activated by player. And up base level of bandits. And entirely remove shouts and main storyline in general. And make the landscape colorful. Oh god, ok, Skyrim's still got a long way to go. Still, classes, yay! This'll improve my enjoyment immensely. Anyway, sorry for spamming, it just made my otherwise uneventful and boring morning)

No more boring cookie-cutter characters--Choice matters again!
CHOICE MATTERS MORE IN SKYRIM THAN ANY TES BEFORE RAAAAAAAAAGE!

Done now.

Well it doesn't do anything with perks, so that's still in.

Yeah.

I can understand why some people might crave stats, but saying choice in character development does not matter in Skyrim is a huuuuuuuuuge pile of bullshit. I stress over almost every perk choice and bar increase because they actually matter now, and no character will ever be a master of everything.

How did you get on with the DLC in the end, was it good and worth getting do you think?

It's just more Skyrim really, same as the reviews said. I like how it integrates fully with the normal game, rather than standing outside of it like the Fallout DLC. That said it also kind of adds things you don't really need.

If you're a huge TES fan like me it's a no-brainer, but if you even have to ask the question of it being worth it you probably want to wait for a sale.

The reviews here wern't great tbh 7/10, but as its the 360 version, mods are out so I'll probably get it so, thanks for the feedback :)
Awesome. I like that it keeps perks too, I'm a big perk fan (okay, I'm a big Fallout fan and thus think perks are cool) and would be sad if they were removed. Does anyone know if stat improvement via leveling up is the same? i.e. Do the amount of stat points change depending on how much you use a skill?
