hedwards: The larger the group the harder it is to get any sort of acknowledgement that there's a joke there. As soon as it becomes normal, you're pretty unlikely to actually get anybody to own up the fact that it's accurate or funny.
You have this backwards! So much of humour takes advantage of the fact that people want to conform, the more people that do it the more normal we feel, this makes us feel relaxed and more willing to laugh..

It's not the modern apple users that get the ridicule anyway it's more the old-skool pretentious zealots that many PC users dislike.

There actually is iPhone version of ScummVM already, so I doubt iPad version is that far away. Scumm realloy opens up some possibilities on Sierra games on touch screen machines. I've even tried a couple if Sierras and Lucasfilms games on my Samsung Android phone, and they do work all right.

I am a proud Mactard since '94, and a Windows/Linux user since '99. I also have a 5.5G 80GB Ipod bought in spring 2007. I may very well fit both categories. The Ipad and the trackpad/button combination in recent Apple laptops were retarded ideas however, so I would probably be labelled a traitor by the Apple camp.

I, too, and looking forward to Scumm gettiing some iPad attention. It seems a good match for an iPad

Well the new iPad will with a dual GPU unit and im guessing the Retina display so.. But the issues is that Apple drops a new OS or a new model every year so thats gotta be tricky. I kinda feel bad for anyone buying an iPad or did when a model thats going to blow there crap away is coming in less than a year at the same price they paid :P
