Yeah, it certainly seemed like something that would have been fun to play, but unfunny and poorly written humour is still unfunny and poorly written.

I've just read something that depressingly ensures that this game will be a hit. If you buy it, you get guaranteed access to the beta for gears of war 3

I'm not sure if it'll give it that Crackdown level of success, because I don't think Gears of War has as many fans.

It sounds to me like the worst and most childish of what this video had to offer was written for the hosts, not clipped from the game. That being the case, they probably did their best to include the stupidest, most middle-school bits of the game to match, which tells me that the actual game is probably no worse than the clips shown.

The video as a whole was utterly retarded and reminds me of the DNF video with the guy drawing a dick on the whiteboard, but I'm afraid I can't get too worked up over the actual in-game dialogue that they showed. I'm reserving judgment until I see something more substantial.

Anyone read the comments on Giantbomb? Classy stuff indeed.
