Gazoinks: Oh, no, just in spending money. Mind you, I'm 17 and still live with my parents so I can't really count as poor or anything.

gameon: Ok, no probs. I do fear for peoples spending habits, as i've seen people get into serious debt. Still, theres nothing wrong with being cautious and picking a bargain. Welcome to my world, i haven't bought any steam sale stuff either.

I prefer drm free, but if L.A noire gets 75% off, then i could well be tempted.
LA Noire was on sale for $9.98 on GamersGate last week and I was very tempted but.....ended up with the Europa Universalis 3 Divine Wind expansion pack instead.

LA Noire worth buying at some point though?

And btw, agree on the getting in debt problem. The only reason I buy so much right now is I have a Japanese client I do work for every day for about an hour. A few quick articles written and he pays me 50 bucks -- daily. So it's lots of expendable income for games :) If and when he disappears though I'll be back to my 2 games a month maximum :)

I've seen it on PS3, and it looks like a cross between Heavy Rain and Gta. One word of warning, it has dead bodies, and full female nudity. I was quite surprised that a mainstream game would be able to do that considering what happened with Gta san andreas and the jack thompson law suits.

Full female nudity and dead bodies? I think you just sold it to even more people :)

Full female nudity......I'm a woman, so I see that every day when I get out of the shower. And dead bodies? On the front page of every newspaper in Thailand. Daily. I kid you not :)

So.....I'll probably add it to my list of games to eventually buy. I did look at a gameplay video and, from the bit I watched, the graphics and play looked amazing.
Yeah, so I broke down and grabbed LA Noire. Damn you Steam! The backlog grows even bigger...

Good choice.

The game is great. The closest I came to describing this game is the original Police Quest games. A little bit more action, of course.

People were expecting another GTA, but it isn't that. Good story, immersive world, believable characters and just oozing of the flair of the time it emulates.

This is one of the games that show what gaming can be.
Oh no. Trine 2 for $3.74... damn, I think my wallet's going to start complaining.

And drown over the noise everyone's wives are already making.
Oh no, Legend of Grimrock is on sale for less than an hour and I have no more money left.
Damn you, Steam!
