I finally bought Thief 2 (god it's splinter cell in medeval times in first person view) but I have 4 questions:

1: this is my brothers question, he is trying to install a mod what he called Thief Enhanced obviously to improve the graphics and framrate and fonts etc. but when tries to install it it keep saying denied or something he never told me more then that.

2.Customizing controls are weird, first I tried to put toggle walk/run on the Caps Lock key and worked but when I retry the game when I got killed by a guard it is stuck run I pressed it again and he won't walk is it a glitch or bug

3.This is a walkthrough question, I am doing the first level I have to clear a mansion so this guy can escape with his wife I knocked out all the guards I blew the whistle but as he ran he suddenly stoped in this hallway where I encoutered the first 2 guards both of whom are knocked out and out of the way and he just stops in the hallway am I missing something?

4. Is this game better with keyboard/mouse or controller?

No, Splinter Cell is Thief in modern third person. :P

Anyway:
1. Try Tafferpatcher instead. It included Enhanced (I think) as well as a couple other fixes, and it's very easy to install. You can even add bloom if you want! http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=131106
2. I've never used Toggle walk/run (I prefer defaulting to walk and holding shift to run), but that sounds like a bug. Have you tried switching it to a different key?
3. Odd. Never got anything like this for me. I can't remember whether you have to do something else, but try restarting I guess.
4. Keyboard/mouse due to precision aiming and wealth of keys.

2.I did and it still won't work but I will take your advise and stay walk by default (though that will make progressing through the game more slower :P)

3.My theory is that he stoped when was in a lighted hallway but why should he be stop if there are ow guards to see him)

4. the only thing I see that makes controller better then keyboard/mouse is better control for movement

How about if veteran forum member would use the appropriate sub-forums?

you wish to know why it is because the sub-forums take too long for someone to reply because less people visits the sub-fourms for certain games (well thats how I experiance it the last time)
